Laura is a Psychometrist and Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying) and who administers psychological assessments in the Durham region.

Meet Laura Bruno, MA. In her role as a Psychometrist at Agius Psychology, Laura administers psychological assessments while prioritizing a client-centered approach where children, adolescents, and adults feel supported throughout the assessment process. Laura holds a Master of Arts in Counselling Psychology from Yorkville University, a Bachelor of Education from the University of Western Ontario, and a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology (Hons.) from York University. 

Laura’s background, which includes a Specialist in Special Education and over 19 years of experience as an Ontario Certified Teacher, has shaped her longstanding interest in helping individuals and families understand individual learning needs, navigate school-based challenges, and advocate for special education supports. This interest is also reflected in her passion for psychological assessment and its role in identifying an individual’s strengths and areas of need.
